Elemental LED, a leading U.S. based engineering and technology company that manufactures LED lighting solutions, announced today the appointment of Steve Gensler, Ph.D., as head of the Engineering and Technology department at Elemental LED. Elemental LED and its manufacturing and wholesale division, Diode LED, provides a wide variety of superior quality linear, task, and accent LED lighting solutions for both commercial and residential applications.
In his role, Gensler will be responsible for leading Elemental LED’s technology, innovation and engineering initiatives making strategic, tactical and technical contributions to product development and emerging market penetration efforts.

For more than 20 years, Gensler has gained valuable experience in research and development, product launches, compliance, manufacturing and technological innovation in the areas of display technology, semiconductor processing and manufacturing equipment. He held several senior leadership roles at Nanosys, InVisage Technologies, Texas Instruments, Reflectivity, Novellus Systems and Alameda Applied Sciences. Gensler has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago.
