ABOUT THE SESSION

Two panels, one made up of interior architects and the other consisting of commercial lighting designers, face off in this exciting debate. There will be both truths and consequences as these top design professionals reveal the inside story of how their award-winning commercial interior workplace and hospitality projects are cajoled/teamed/grappled and ultimately coaxed into constructed reality.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Learn and understand the collaborative process between interior architects and lighting designers for interior workplace and hospitality projects.
  • Understand which elements of the design are the responsibility of the interior architect and which are the responsibility of the lighting designer.
  • Learn where the friction points in this process occur and how to avoid them.
  • Understand what the respective project deliverables are for complete (and coordinated) design and lighting packages.
