ABOUT THE SESSION

For the first time in human history, individuals have the power to not only control the intensity of light, but the hue as well. The unprecedented proliferation of hue-controllable technologies brings with it a massive learning curve that we’re all experiencing together. We understand the extent of what we can do, but there are no standards to guide us through what we should do. We are the generation of lighting designers who will be the ones to figure this out.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Recognize the principles that create timeless designs using colored light.
  • Learn how to avoid designs that will look dated, trendy or cheesy.
  • Create best practices for using dynamic and static hue installations.
  • Assemble appropriate compositions of light hues for your residential projects.
