ABOUT THE SESSION

This session will provide an overall synopsis of wireless technologies, identify key manufacturers, and discuss the benefits/drawbacks of using wireless technology. Additionally, it will cover some common concerns such as security and functionality.

  • Identify types of wireless technologies, including the benefits and drawbacks of each.
  • Learn the merits of wireless vs wired lighting controls.
  • Identify common concerns revolving around wireless lighting controls and their solutions.
  • Understand which components are required and why when building a Bill of Material.

Lawrence is a member of Graybar’s Lighting Controls Specialist team, and an active member of the California Energy Alliance. Lawrence hold a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University.
