ABOUT THE SESSION

There are many changes in the 2018 IECC, both in controls and lighting power densities. While some of these changes will make lighting design more challenging, there are new opportunities emerging as well. This session will review the changes in the 2018 IECC and discuss compliance options. Anyone designing projects in the state of Nevada should attend, as well as anyone designing for IECC compliance elsewhere.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Review changes to controls requirements and lighting power densities.
  • Discuss optional compliance requirements.
  • Consider how an integrated approach can help meet code with better design.
  • Develop compliance strategies.
