IESSF Celebrates Excellence in Architecture and Light

The San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center welcomed the Bay Area lighting community for the elegant 2018 SF-LUX Awards Banquet this spring. The Illuminating Engineering Society San Francisco Section organized the lighting design competition in parallel with the Illuminating Engineering Society’s international Illumination Awards. Bay Area lighting agencies ALR, Archetype, CAL Lighting, Lighting Systems, and 16500 sponsored the invitation-only event.

The event was emceed by LUX Awards Chair MJ Paul with remarks by Section President Clifton Stanley Lemon. They thanked this year’s panel of judges: Jeremy Steinmeier, Gensler; Kristin Peck, Pritchard Peck Lighting; Linda Sanford, PG&E; and Sara McBarnette, Auerbach Glasow.
