Intended for architects and engineers, daylight harvesting strategies are discussed along with their impact on lighting equipment, wiring, controls and installation. Attendees will learn about step controls versus continuous dimming, open and closed loop systems controls systems and how they are specified. Recent developments in installer training and other activities to support daylight harvesting are discussed.

Steve Stannard is a Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society with over thirty years in the lighting industry. Author of many articles and technical papers Steve has experience in theatrical and architectural lighting design, photometry, product development, lighting software and manufacturing. He has taught Illuminating Engineering at the University of Colorado and presented lighting seminars for the Association of Energy Engineers, Boeing, IBM, Lightolier, several universities and the US Navy.
